Facility Management is aimed at offering employees within organisations an integrated working environment, thus contributing to the success of the organisation. In the study programme of International Facility Management students learn to operate in a broad field in which they can help to maintain and improve the quality of life, manage systems and processes, and integrate people, places and technology. In other words, the employees, (core) processes and technology are central and the facility manager is the connector!

Facility Management is a growing industry, as people around the world are spending most of their time – both personally and professionally – in man-made facility environments. There is a great need for new facility managers, millions of jobs that need to be filled – it is a wide open field with many opportunities. Graduates of the Facility Management programme are very versatile and therefore in demand for various positions. They have endless career possibilities – actually too many to mention, but a few examples are: facility manager, innovation manager, work environment advisor or event manager at multinationals, event agencies, catering, cleaning and security organisations or real estate companies.
